I love a good marinade and believe it makes all the difference in grilled chicken!!  This one is so versatile. If I’m wanting citrus I use this recipe then add the juice of a lemon. If I’m feeling bbq I use this but add smoked paprika and bbq sauce at the end. I promise you can’t go wrong saving this recipe!

[recipe-ingredients]
1 1/2 pounds boneless/skinless chicken breasts

1/4 cup olive oil

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

2 Tablespoons soy sauce

1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1 teaspoon salt

Optional-1/4-1/2 teaspoon spice (siracha, tiger sauce, red pepper flakes)
[/recipe-ingredients]
[recipe-directions]
Add all ingredients to a gallon size ziploc baggie. Gently pound chicken until they are uniform in width. Using a fork poke holes all over the breasts. Add to the marinade and massage until well coated. Place in fridge turning occasionally. Marinate atleast 30 minutes up to 24 hours. I love to do mine the morning or early afternoon of grilling. If using a gas grill heat to 400. Grill over low for 6-7 minutes per side until 160 internal temp. Just before finished add about 1 teaspoon butter to each breast. Remove to foil and cover loosely, letting rest for about 5 minutes then serve!
