No need to worry about having the beautiful cookies with this one…kids will just love that their favorite candies are in the cookie! This time I did Halloween M&Ms, toffee and chocolate chips! Try using your fav candy and let me know how it turns out!

– 3/4 cup Butter Shortening
– 1 1/4 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
– 2 Tablespoons milk
– 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
– 1 egg
– 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
– 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
– 1/2 cup heath bits
– 1/2 cup Halloween colored M&Ms, rough chop after measuring
– Extra M&Ms for topping

Preheat oven to 375ºF. Beat shortening, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl with mixer on medium speed until well blended. Beat in egg. Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Mix into shortening mixture until just blended. Stir in candies. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake 8 to 10 min. Cool 2 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
