I actually used a box cake mix – triple chocolate. Then substituted milk for water and added about 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips. I baked them into Mini size at 350 for 12 minutes and they were perfect!
I whipped up my own buttercream…but you can certainly buy a can of your favorite brand. I decided to tint mine purple for a festive touch!
For my witch hats I used the Muddy Bites brand of the cone filled snacks. These are so fun and already black as I got the cookies and cream variety! Add some sprinkles then top your icing with one of these! And you are done! They are so cute and festive!
