Do you find yourself looking for that perfect transportable appetizer for your Holiday Parties? Well, stop right here. Because this is the recipe you need!

This is the perfect appetizer for the holiday season! This Cranberry Salsa is so delicious. We’ve been making it for years and years! It’s full of fresh cranberries, jalapeños, onions, lime and seasonings, and it’s the perfect compliment to your appetizer table. You can serve it over a cream cheese/sour cream mixture with crackers or you can also serve it just plain with tortilla chips. It is awesome both ways! I promise you’ll come back to this recipe year after year.

To be totally honest I usually freeze a bag or two of cranberries so I can make this again during the year!

Give it a try and let me know what you think!

[recipe-notes]
Using a food processor makes this so much faster than chopping by hand. And you can control the consistency
[/recipe-notes]
[recipe-ingredients]
– 1 (12 ounce) bag of fresh cranberries, finely chopped
– 1 jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
– 4 green onions, finely chopped
– 1/2 bunch cilantro, finely chopped
– 1/2-3/4 Cup sugar
– juice of 1 lime
– 3/4 tsp cumin
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 Cup sour cream
– 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
[/recipe-ingredients]
[recipe-directions]
Combine the first 7 ingredients, set aside. (Instead of chopping I use a food processor so it all comes out evenly chopped) Combine the sour cream and cream cheese. Spread on a platter and spread the salsa on top. Serve with Tortilla chips or crackers.
