SO EASY and this makes a great gift too! A little sweet with a little spice! Enjoy on crackers, sandwich’s, eggs etc! 

Easy Cowboy Candy

  • Jarred Jalapeño slices
  • 4-6 Tablespoons Sugar
  • Juice from Jalapeño slices
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon 
  • In a wide mouth jar, add jalapeños about 1/3 way up. Pour on 2-3 T sugar. Add the rest of the slices. Add 2-3 more T sugar and good dash or two of the jarred juice, cinnamon sticks and ground cinnamon.  Shake very well. Check consistency. It should have a thick layer of juice. Add more sugar if needed. Store in fridge, flipping throughout day so all peppers are coated and sugar is completely dissolved.
