Moist, tender banana bread made with ripe bananas, sour cream, and chocolate chips. Easy to mix up in one bowl and baked to perfection, this homemade bread is rich in flavor and makes your kitchen smell amazing!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a muffin pan or use paper liners. In an electric mixer, using a paddle attachment, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, and beat to incorporate.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to the butter mixture, and mix until just combined. Add bananas, sour cream, and vanilla; mix to combine. Stir in chocolate chips, and pour into prepared pan or liners. I like to use a large cookie scoop and one scoop is the perfect amount.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, until a cake tester inserted into the center comes out clean. Let rest for a few minutes in the pan then remove to a cooling rack.
