This hearty and comforting Old-Fashioned Beef Vegetable Soup is packed with tender beef, potatoes, carrots, and green beans all simmered in a rich, flavorful broth.
Brown meat with the chopped onions. Drain fat from meat. While meat is draining, pour broth and water in pot and bring to a boil. Add potatoes and carrots. Add meat and onions to the pot and bring back to boil, then add rest of ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes or longer.
Notes
*If you don’t like spice substitute a can of just diced tomatoes for the can of tomatoes with green chilies. *I personally just use the juice of tomato can (or blend it up) and squeeze extra juice from the diced tomatoes can as my family doesn’t like to many tomatoes.
