This creamy, rich Hershey Bar Pie is made with just 2 ingredients plus a crust! Smooth, chocolatey, and incredibly easy to make — it’s the perfect quick dessert for any occasion.
Break apart the candy bars and place them in a microwave-safe bowl. Slowly melt the chocolate in short 20 second intervals, stirring between each one, until completely smooth. May take about 1 minute. Slightly cool the chocolate until warm to the touch — this step is important so the mixture blends well. Gently fold in the Cool Whip until the filling becomes smooth and turns a light milk chocolate color.Once combined, spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pie crust. Refrigerate the pie for about an hour, or until fully set. Keep the pie stored in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Notes
Allowing the chocolate to cool slightly will help it blend in smoothly. If the chocolate is too warm it will create chocolate pieces. Just as delicious, but not as smooth.
