In a small saucepan melt 4 Tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add pecans and sauté until golden brown. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, cocoa and salt. Add milk and blend well. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture just begins to boil. Remove from heat, add vanilla and 1 Tablespoon butter. Whip by hand for 3-4 minutes and serve warm.
