You will be thanking me for this recipe! Save yourself $6 and make your own Double Chocolate Chip Frappuccino just like from your favorite shop on the corner! And this one is coffee free!

Here in Texas, the weather is already heating up, which means it’s the perfect time to cool off with a refreshing frozen drink! But let’s be honest—frappes are delicious any time of year. This homemade chocolate frappe is rich, creamy, and completely coffee-free, making it a fun and family-friendly treat that kids and adults will both enjoy.

Since I don’t drink coffee, this version is all about that chocolatey goodness without any caffeine. It’s a quick and easy blended drink recipe that’s ideal for warm afternoons, summer parties, or just when you’re craving something sweet and icy.

See exact quantities in recipe card below.

Instructions

Wow! This recipe could not be easier! Dump it in a blender and blend! SO EASY! See my tips below for how to create the chocolate rings in your glass or watch the video below!

Serving

This is so fun to serve in a clear glass with chocolate swirls and a paper straw! Adding whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate just takes it up a notch!

Blenders

Pro tip: Every blender is a little different, so feel free to adjust the amount of ice to get the texture you love most. Give it a try and let me know—does this become your new favorite chocolate treat?

Equipment

A good blender is needed for this recipe! I used a Pampered Chef one here. But this one is my other FAVORITE! And a frother will give you those cute chocolate swirls!!

Storage

This drink will not keep in the fridge. So mix it up when you are ready to enjoy!
