These easy cinnamon donut holes are made with canned biscuit dough, fried to golden perfection, and rolled in sweet cinnamon sugar—perfect for a quick and delicious treat!
Pour oil into heavy bottom pot. About 3-4 inches deep. Heat the oil to 325 degrees.Mix together the cinnamon and sugar. Place in gallon baggie or shallow bowl.
While heating oil in a heavy bottom pot or high edge skillet, cut each biscuit into fourths. you can roll them just slightly to give them a more round appearance, but do not mess with them to much. You want them light and airy.
Gently drop biscuit pieces into oil with a slotted spoon or spider strainer working in batches fry the biscuits, gently turning over as they cook.
Once they are golden and the oil bubbles start to subside pull them out and place on paper towel lined tray. Don't cool them completely.
Drop the warm donuts in and toss in the sugar. If using a baggie do not zip closed. Toss around until completely coated.
Remove the holes and add to a serving plate and serve immediately.
