Instructions

Watch this recipe in action below!

Tips

  • Slice the beef SUPER thin!! I promise it is worth it. Pop the beef in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes before slicing. It slices so much easier when it is almost froze or very cold!
  • Cooking the beef in batches gives you more control over the process and honestly makes it go quicker due to the beef not being over crowded and slowing the cooking. The texture is so much better this way!
  • Don't skip the cilantro garnish it adds a freshness that is so delicious!

Rice or Noodles

I LOVE this with noodles and prefer linguini noodles! However, I have a couple guys in my household that prefer rice. Both taste so good. If you do use noodles I suggest stirring them in at the end already cooked and let them soak up a little bit of that sauce!

FAQ

What kind of beef should I use?

I prefer flank steak with this recipe. You can also use sirloin. Just remember to slice thin and against the grain.

I don't have white wine vinegar what can I use instead?

Dry Sherry or cooking sherry is a great substitute.

If I use noodles what are the best options?

I usually use linguini because I always have it on hand. Rice noodles are also fantastic.
