Instructions
Honestly, if you need a no nonsense and straight forward recipe this is the one! It comes together so quickly in one bowl. I love to use my mixer for this recipe as it does all the work for me. Once on the cookie sheet, press the cookie ball down slightly with a measuring cup that has been dipped in granulated sugar. It gives it just a little extra sweetness. Baking the cookies until the centers are not quite done will give you the best texture. The cookies will finish cooking for the few minutes that they are on the baking sheet.

Substitutions
Cinnamon and nutmeg are not necessary in this recipe. But I will say it adds so much more depth of flavor! But, if you just don't like it just leave it out!
Equipment
Stocking your kitchen with quality tools makes your baking life so much easier. Personally, I would rather have a quality baking sheet over a quality cookie scoop. Here is an affiliate link to some of my favorite baking supplies!
Storage
Store the cookies in an airtight container for up to 4 days!
Yes! They can be baked then frozen for up 3 months. Just line them between layers of parchment in a freezer zip top baggie.
