One of my all-time favorite sweet treats has to be Magic Cookie Bars! These irresistible dessert bars are loaded with layers of rich chocolate, crunchy pecans, and sweet shredded coconut—all baked together into a chewy, buttery crust. Every bite is pure indulgence, and I especially love mine served warm when the chocolate is perfectly melty.

Magic Cookie Bars aren’t just delicious for everyday baking—they’re also a crowd-pleaser for parties, potlucks, and holiday gatherings. They make fantastic edible gifts, too! Simply add them to a festive cookie tray, and I promise they’ll be the first treat to disappear. If you’ve never made them before, now’s the perfect time to give this classic dessert a try…and be sure to let me know how you like them!

Perfect for parties, cookie trays, or a sweet snack at home.

These have been a staple in my life for DECADES! My mom made them when I was young and I have stuck to the tradition. When I REALLY want a treat...like want to feed my emotions, I make THESE! I have also heard them called Hello Dollies! What ever you call them...add them to your baking line up soon.

Instructions

This recipe couldn’t be easier to put together—simply layer the ingredients and bake! The result is a rich, chewy dessert that looks impressive but takes minimal effort.

Pro Tip: For the best results, make sure your graham cracker crust is firmly packed on the bottom. This helps the layers hold together beautifully and keeps every bite perfectly balanced.

Want to see just how simple it is? Watch the short video below for the full step-by-step process in action!

Equipment

A well stocked kitchen certainly makes baking so much easier! But for this recipe all you need is a 9x13 pan! It is so very simple. However, I have all my favorite baking tools HERE if you want to take a look around!

Storage

Just put a lid on your dish and these keep for about 4 days! I love to pop mine in the the microwave for about 6-7 seconds and get it warmed and gooey again. I promise you will love these!
