Five Pumpkin Recipes for Fall

Published: Nov 5, 2026 by Misty Tannery · This post may contain affiliate links · Leave a Comment

As soon as the weather starts to cool off, I’m ready to open a can of pumpkin and get out the cinnamon. I’ve rounded up five of my favorite pumpkin recipes for fall, from mini pumpkin chocolate chip muffins that are just right for lunchboxes to soft pumpkin bars topped with cream cheese frosting.

There’s crunchy pumpkin granola for breakfast, pumpkin snickerdoodles rolled in cinnamon sugar, and a creamy pumpkin dip that’s right at home on a fall snack board with apple slices and cookies. Whether you’re baking for a get-together or just want a little something pumpkin to snack on, I hope you find a new favorite here!

Mini Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins
These mini pumpkin chocolate chip muffins are a family favorite. The recipe makes a big batch, so I keep some for the week and flash-freeze the rest. Pop a few frozen muffins into a lunch bag in the morning and they’ll thaw by lunchtime.

Pumpkin Granola
This homemade pumpkin granola is full of warm fall spices and plenty of crunch from pecans and pepitas. Enjoy it by the handful, sprinkle it over yogurt, or serve it my favorite way, in a bowl with milk.

Pumpkin Dip
My mom’s sweet, creamy pumpkin dip is such a family favorite that my dad asks for it year-round. I love it with thin gingersnaps, but it’s also fun to serve on a fall snack board with apples, cookies, and pretzels.
