Sauté’d Veggies

Such an easy side dish and full of nutrients! If you need an easy side for just about any protein main dish this is it! Use any variation of fresh vegetables that you have on hand. Using the bacon is totally optional. Most times I only use olive oil to keep it lighter and healthier. Let me know if you try them!

?Ingredients

  • 1-3 slices bacon
  • 1 -2 garlic cloves
  • 1-3 cups chopped veggies

(These measurements depend on how many you want to serve)

?Directions

Chop veggies and set aside. Fry one piece of bacon and add about 1 Tablespoon olive oil. Once hot add veggies and minced garlic and sauté until fork tender. I add cabbage and zucchini last so it doesn’t get soggy. Season with pepper and season salt and garlic through out process. Serve hot!
