If you’re like me, the holiday season is busy, hectic, and sometimes a little stressful! That’s where a little preparation really helps. Around October, I like to start taking inventory of my baking ingredients and supplies. It doesn’t have to be exact yet, but knowing what’s already in my pantry helps me figure out what I still need.
I created this Christmas baking planner and shopping list to help me stay organized, and I thought I’d share it with you! You can download your own editable copy below, add your recipes and ingredients, and use it to plan your shopping trips.
I bake a ton during the holidays, so I sometimes keep a few copies in Google Sheets—one for a work party, another for a school party, and one for each family celebration. Do whatever works best for you!
I hope you find it helpful! Let me know if there’s anything you’d love to see added.
Below is an example of the spreadsheet!

You do not need to spend much time getting organized, but I promise you will be so glad you did. It never fails your child will come home and say "I signed you up to bring Christmas cookies and forgot to tell you!-tomorrow!" No fear...you are prepared. I always make sure I have ingredients for 2 extra cookie recipes, and I always use it.
