This Pecan Praline Crunch is one of my all-time favorite snacks, and I’ve been making it for years! No matter how many times I bake a batch, I still look forward to it every fall and winter—it’s become a tradition in my kitchen. With its sweet praline coating, crunchy cereal base, and plenty of pecans mixed in, every bite is full of rich flavor and texture. Not only is it an irresistible treat for snacking, but it also makes a thoughtful homemade gift and is always a hit on game day. It is also so very easy! You will not believe how quickly it comes together using your microwave! If you love the taste of pralines and pecans, this is a recipe you’ll want to make again and again.

Exact measurements in recipe card below!

Instructions

This recipe is so simple, and the best part is that you can make the praline mixture right in the microwave! To begin, preheat your oven to 250°F. While the oven heats, mix together the cereal and pecans in a 9x13 baking dish and set it aside.

Next, in a 2-cup microwave-safe bowl, combine the corn syrup, brown sugar, and butter. Microwave the mixture on high for 1 ½ minutes, then give it a good stir. After that, return it to the microwave and cook on high for another 30 seconds to 1 ½ minutes, or until the mixture is bubbling. Once it’s boiling, stir in the vanilla and baking soda. Immediately pour this praline mixture over the cereal and pecans, stirring until everything is well coated.

Afterward, place the dish in the oven and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes. Be sure to scrape the bottom and fold the sugar mixture back into the cereal and pecans each time to keep everything evenly coated. Finally, spread the mixture onto a sheet pan to cool completely. Once cooled, break it into pieces and enjoy your sweet and crunchy pecan praline snack! Watch the quick video below to see it step by step!
