Chicken Verde

I have a crockpot recipe that is HEALTHY, VERSATILE, and EASY!  You will love this verde chicken. Use it for tacos, burritos, enchiladas, rice bowls … what ever you can think of! You can add more jalapeños to make it spicier and double the recipe for a crowd. It can do what ever you want it too!

Ingredients

• 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons granulated garlic
• 2 teaspoons cumin
• 1 teaspoon chili powder
• 1 cup Salsa Verde I use the roasted variety
• 1 cup chicken broth
• 1 lime juiced
• 1 jalapeño sliced and seeded
• Splash white cooking wine

Instructions

 

• Mix well in crockpot and cook on low 6 ½ hours. When done shred in crockpot. Use for tacos, burritos, enchiladas etc.
