Substitutions

  • Cereal - instead of using a blend of rice cereal and fruity cereal, you can use all fruity if you like!

Variations

  • Chocolate - Switch out the fruity cereal of Cocoa Krispies. So Good!
  • Shapes- Once the treats are cooled use thick cookie cutters to make shapes! See an idea here.

Equipment

Equipment can have a big impact on how a recipe turns out. But for this recipe all you need is a heavy bottoms pot, a good scraper and a 9x9 pan. Find my favs of these HERE in my storefront!

These store great for a few days in an airtight container...However, I bet they are gone before you know it!

Kids in the Kitchen

One of the best things about Fruity Rice Krispie Treats is how kid-friendly they are—from start to finish. This simple, no-bake recipe is a great way to get little hands involved in the kitchen. From stirring the cereal to pressing the mixture into the pan, it’s an easy and fun cooking activity for all ages. Plus, the bright colors and fruity flavors make them extra exciting for kids to create (and devour). Whether it’s for a rainy afternoon activity, a playdate snack, or a fun dessert after dinner, these treats are always a hit with the whole family.

TIP- Spray their hands with cooking spray or get them damp with water and the marshmallows will stick less when smoothing out!
