Ingredients

  • fresh chicken wings and drumettes
  • olive oil
  • granulated garlic
  • black pepper
  • buffalo sauce of choice

See recipe card for exact quantities below.

Instructions

This recipe has a few steps, but SO worth it!

Preheat Airfryer to 400°.

Pat wings dry with a paper towel.

Put the wings into a bowl and drizzle olive oil over wings just so they are lightly covered.

Sprinkle on garlic and pepper just until every piece is lightly covered.

Toss in a few Tablespoons of buffalo sauce, again you are looking for a light coating.

Line wings in your Airfryer according to your manufacturer directions.

Air-fry for 20-22 minutes. In my airfryer I like to rotate the trays halfway through. If you have a bucket no need for this.

Take them out and put into a bowl and toss in another layer of buffalo sauce. They will not be crispy yet. But will be mostly cooked through.

Put them back in the air fryer for 10-15 minutes until they are crispy and golden.

Again, I rotate my trays at 6 minutes on this step.

Pull them out and serve dry or toss in more wing sauce!

Watch the video below to see this recipe in action!

Tips

Do not skip any of the steps! Cook these until you can see the crispiness! Do not take out to soon or you lose that crisp!

Storage

These are so good as left overs! Reheat in the air fryer for 4-6 minutes. Just store in an airtight container like this in the fridge!

Equipment

The air fryer I used in the video above is a Pampered Chef air fryer which I love. But I also love this Ninja one! It works amazing.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 pounds chicken wings and drumettes
  • 1 ½ Tablespoons olive oil
  • Granulated garlic use enough for a light coating
  • Black pepper use enough for a light coating
  • Buffalo wing sauce your favorite brand or make your own

Instructions

  • Preheat Airfryer to 400°.

Notes

- My Airfryer can fit 24-26 wingettes and drumettes at a time. So adjust amounts for your own Airfryer.- I have found fresh chicken best. The frozen bag kind seem to be to large and meaty.
-This will serve about 5 for dinner or about 10 as appetizers.
