Instructions
Prepare the marinade in a zip top baggie. Add chicken and let marinate for at least 30 minutes. if it has all day that is even better! While it's marinating be sure and turn that bag every so often. Heat the grill to 400 degrees and skewer on the chicken. Discard and extra marinade. Grill the skewers for about 10 minutes rotating half way through. Once the internal temp reached 160 go ahead and pull them off and sprinkle with sesame seeds. There is a broil option as well in the recipe card. See the recipe in action below!
Variations
- Make it a Meal - Since this is more of an appetizer/main dish it is only chicken. To make it more of a meal add some veggies...like onions, peppers etc.
Equipment
I absolutely love to grill! All the heat stays outside and the flavor is always so much better! I believe having the right tools makes cooking and grilling so much more enjoyable. Here is a link to some of my favorite supplies.
Storage
These stay fresh in an airtight container for 3-4 days. I love to reheat mine in a skillet on the stove with a little olive oil or in the air fryer.

Serving Ideas
I like to make a separate batch of the marinade and add a Tablespoon of brown sugar and cook on low until thickened. You can baste the skewers with this right when they come off or add it to the side to dip.
If I am serving this as a main dish it tastes great with either Jasmine rice or a batch of fried rice. Saute some veggies or make a salad and you have a great meal!
