If you’ve been looking for an easy dessert recipe that’s both nostalgic and kid-approved, this one’s for you. Give them a try and let me know what you think—I have a feeling they’ll be a new favorite at your house too!

Instructions

To begin, preheat your oven to 350℉ and line your cookie sheets with parchment paper for easy cleanup. In a very large mixing bowl, combine the eggs and sugars, mixing well until smooth. Next, add in the salt, vanilla, peanut butter, and softened butter, and mix again until fully incorporated. Then, stir in the chocolate candies, chocolate chips, Heath bits and mini chips if using, along with the baking soda and oats, mixing until everything is evenly combined. Using a tablespoon, drop the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake the cookies for 8 to 10 minutes, being careful not to overbake so they stay soft and chewy. Finally, let the cookies rest on the baking sheet for about 3 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Equipment

A well stocked kitchen puts the joy into baking! If you are looking for a new stand mixer, I love mine! Here is my affiliate link to most of my favorite kitchen tools. Including the best baking pans!

Storage

These keep great in an airtight container for 4-5 days! They also freeze really well for 3-4 weeks!

Top Tip

I like to press an extra candy or two on top of each cookie to just give it a little something extra!
