Ingredients
- onion
- garlic
- slivered almonds
- butter
- chicken broth
- instant rice

Instructions
Honestly this recipe could not be simpler.
In a saucepan, sauté onion, garlic and almonds in butter until the onion is tender und the almonds are lightly browned. Add rice and stir to incorporate. Add chicken broth; bring to a boil. Stir in rice and cover. Remove from the heat. Let stand for 5-8 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Fluff with fork and serve with your meal!

Hint: If I do not have chicken broth on hand I love to use Better than Bouillon. The instructions are right on the jar and it's an easy substitute.
Storage
Air tight containers are your friends! I love leftovers! This pilaf will keep for 3-4 days, making it perfect for meal prep or left overs!
