Who likes steak kabobs? I actually grill year round..but I am also in Texas! So if you have not had grilling weather lately...it is coming! This is a family favorite and a must during grilling season! Next time you have a craving - look no further! The flavors are so delicious and honestly the marinade comes together quickly! I like to make my marinade in the morning and let it soak in all day. You can even do it over night if that’s easier! Try it and let me know how you like it!
Favorite Grilled Steak Kabobs
Ingredients
- ⅔ cup oil
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup brown sugar honey may be substituted
- 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2-2 ½ pounds beef top sirloin steak cut into 1 ¼ chunks
- 1 medium onions cut into wedges
- 1 medium sweet red pepper cut into 1-inch chunks
- 1 medium green pepper cut into 1-inch chunks
Instructions
- In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first six ingredients; add the steak. Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight.
- Drain and discard marinade. On metal or soaked wooden skewers, alternately thread onions, peppers and steak. Preheat grill to 400. Grill, covered about 2-4 minutes on each side - to your doneness.
