Ingredients

  • refried beans
  • cream cheese
  • sour cream
  • taco seasoning
  • garlic cloves
  • cheddar cheese
  • toppings-tomatoes, cilantro, green onions, black olives etc.

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F and spread the refried beans evenly over the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, finely chopped garlic, and taco seasoning, stirring until smooth and well blended. Next, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the layer of beans, then sprinkle the grated cheese over the top. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the dip is hot and the cheese is melted. Once out of the oven, sprinkle the olives, tomatoes, onions, and cilantro over the warm dip. Garnish with additional sour cream if desired, and serve immediately with tortilla chips. Equipment

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces refried beans canned
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 Tablespoons taco seasoning mix
  • 2 garlic cloves minced or chopped finely
  • ½-3/4 cup cheddar cheese* grated

Toppings

  • tomatoes chopped
  • green onions chopped
  • cilantro chopped
  • sliced black olives

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Spread refried beans over bottom of 9x13 dish.
  • In a bowl combine cream cheese, sour cream, taco seasoning and garlic until well blended.
  • Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over beans.
    Sprinkle grated cheese over top.
  • Bake 15-18 minutes, until hot through out.
  • Sprinkle olives, tomato, onions and cilantro over dip. Garnish with additional sour cream, if desired. Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

*Instead of cheddar and a blend of cheddar and Monterey Jack is a great option!
This dip should stay warm while serving for best flavor. I like to set mine on a warming mat.
